Well tonight I learned a lesson, The media is not all bad. I don't hold the media personally responsible for the problem, in fact I enjoy the ability to get the news of what's going on in my world. I just object to the trash they put on in the name of news. I am not interested in some big busted Hollywood bimbo, with more money then brains and who she has been in bed with this week.
I have been sitting here watching the story unfold about the terrorist attacks in Paris. What a horrifying and frustrating experience that was. The frustrating part was when I looked on Facebook to get some more details all I found was a bunch of idiots yacking about their stupid shit that they always post.
The world was falling apart for thoses in Paris, and all over the world and the FB idiots are talking about their insignificant lives, the games they play and silly pictures with captions they post. All very cute, but I'm not into cute.
Our world is being threatened by a world wide terrorist organization and we aren't doing anything about it, except watching it on the boob tube. When is the 535 that we jokingly refer to as our government going to get their collective heads out of their asses and look around to see what is going on in our world today. Those people want to kill us...
One thing I learned in Vietnam is that you can't talk to your enemy, you shoot first, and if he is still alive you can talk to him. That's the only way to get him to lieten. That's something that our leaders don't seam to understand.
I'm not going to play the blame game, we all know why our enemies are as bold as they are.

I have to admit that I am a news-a-holic, by that I mean that most of my day is spent with the news on the TV. I am not always watching it but wherever I am or what ever I am doing I am listening to it in the background. My main interest right now is politics, of course.
The other day the talking heads where discussing bias in the media, witch is a common topic these days. The remark was that the other guys are biased in their coverage of the politicians. What they don't realize is that they, the media in general, are all biased. They, like the politicians, all have an agenda.
Their agenda is simple, get ratings.... They all do it, they all live by it, and we are the subject of their desire. They will say or do anything to get our attention.
Part of the problem is that everyone tries to manipulate the media, all to advance their own agenda. Whether they are news media, advertisers, politicians or some lunatic that is willing to shoot up a business or school just to get their name on the 11:00 o'clock news. They are all driven by the same thing, get my name in the news. It amazes me every day to see what stupid things people will say and do just to get some coverage, and the extremes that the media will go to just to get that crap on the air.
Business executives today call it marketing, the news people call it reporting, the politicians call it getting votes, I don't know what the lunatic calls it but it's sad. I call it bullshit and a waste of time.
It's like if their little bit of unimportant information where the most urgent bit the world has ever heard. Well I got news for them all, it ain't... not to me and probably not for most of the people listening.
Don't get me wrong, I want to know what's going on today in the world, I just don't give a dam about Starbucks new holiday cup, or the idiots that think they should get paid $15.00 an hour for flipping burgers. I also don't give a dam what the hundreds of so called educated talking heads have to say about it.
It's very easy to blame social media for everything in the news today, "they made it go viral" -- who cares, if it's news publish it, if it isn't news shut up about it. I have to wonder how many of these nut cases shooters would do any harm if they new that the minute they pulled the trigger they and what they did would never be heard of again?
I agree with Chris Christie, with all of the important things going on in our world today, why are they talking about this junk.
The next question is why do they do it. That's the question for tomorrow...
My rant for today but there is more to come. Stay tuned....
